About Me
My approach is shaped by both professional training and personal experience.
I understand what it’s like to build a life that looks good on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected underneath. This informs how I work; with care, honesty, and respect for how difficult change can feel.
Clients often experience me as calm and steady. I aim to offer a space where you can bring what feels difficult, without pressure to rush or resolve things quickly.
At the same time, I will gently help you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck and support you to begin making changes, at a pace that feels manageable.
My Approach
I understand many of the difficulties people face as rooted in earlier relational experiences.
We learn how to be in the world through our relationships; what is expected of us, what feels safe, and what we need to do to stay connected. This can lead to prioritising others, staying strong, or losing touch with our own needs.
These patterns often make sense in the context they were formed.
Over time, however, they can lead to feeling stuck, disconnected, or unable to move forward in the ways you would like.
Alongside this, the body and nervous system can hold onto these experiences; showing up as anxiety, tension, overwhelm, or physical symptoms.
In therapy, we work with both understanding and experience; helping you make sense of your patterns, while also finding new ways to respond to yourself.
